intro to resonant leadership

What you’ll learn

In this four week course you will learn about the 18 competencies of resonant leadership and how to use them to become a more effective leader. You will also explore the concept of self-directed learning and how to use it to identify areas for personal and professional growth. We will delve into Adizes' model of organizational life cycles and discuss strategies for adaptive leadership in different stages of an organization's development. Finally, we will examine the role of mental models, heuristics, implicit biases, prejudices, and preconceived notions in leadership decision-making and discuss strategies for becoming more aware of and reducing their influence. By the end of this course, you will have a deeper understanding of resonant leadership and be well-equipped to apply these concepts in your own leadership journey.

While the concepts of Emotional Intelligence and Resonant Leadership are well on their way in the marketplace, faith organizations have lagged behind and have left faith leaders across to globe unable to have efficient teams that all resonate which each other. This is a shame, because specifically in faith organizations people tend to agree with each other on a moral level, which should in theory produce resonant organizations. The reality is far from that though. After thorough research of over 270 ATS accredited seminaries it has become clear that MDivs (the degree that pastors are required to take) offer very little training in any form of organizational development. For example, Organizational Leadership is taught in 10% of the seminaries, DEI in 3%, and inclusive leadership is taught in 0% of the seminaries.
